The Texas Hereford magazine is the Monthly publication of the Texas Hereford Association. It is the only publication in Texas devoted solely to Herefords. It includes news about the association, news about Herefords, and timely editorial features. It has been responsible for marketing and merchandising of thousands of Texas Herefords all over the nation. Members and non-members of the Texas Hereford Association may subscribe to Texas Hereford.
Guidelines
If you have created your ad on a disk, these guidelines will help you get expected results:
Advertising Material Guidelines
We accept high-resolution (300 dpi) PDFs or jpgs on CDROM, UBS flash drive, and electronically via e-mail. If the file size dictates, it may be necessary to uploaded to Dropbox.
Bleeds
Bleeds allowed on full page ads only.
No bleed allowed on partial page ads.
For bleed, add 1/8" (.125) inches all around the trim size.
Trim Size: 8.5" wide x 11" deep
Image Area (live area): 7.5" wide x 11" deep
Margins: left/right/top/bottom: .5"
Bleed Size: 8.75" wide x 11.25" deep

Scans/Photos
We can accept high-resolution (300 dpi) digital color and grayscale images saved as PDFs, jpgs, tiffs, EPS or Photoshop files. Low-resolution scans (those pulled off the internet are usually 72 dpi) are unacceptable. If you would like us to scan your images, please send a hard copy of your photo along with the ad copy.
How to send Advertising Materials
If your file is smaller OR larger than 25mb, please send an e-mail to:

and, we will send you a link to a folder on Dropbox into which you may upload your file.
